INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNITY TELEVISION
This is a FREE one-session class, held on the first Monday of every month from 7:00
p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Participants learn about the purpose and history of public access TV,
access services available at ECMC, the policies and procedures of ECMC, and how to
operate cameras for studio productions. The INTRO class is a prerequisite for all other
production classes and workshops, and productions at ECMC.

STUDIO
Class Description: Students will learn studio production techniques including: pre-production
planning, how to produce a show, how to run studio cameras, audio, switching, and titling.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class.

FIELD CAMERA
Class Description: This class covers the fundamentals of portable video
production using Mini DV camcorders and Tapeless, Memory Card camcorders.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class.

FINAL CUT PRO
Class Description: Learn non-linear editing on Final Cut Pro HD. This Mac
based software is designed to edit digital footage.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class
Class Size: 3

ADVANCED MAC
Class Description: Advanced Final Cut Pro users can learn to use more
advanced professional tools to further explore their creative side.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class and Final Cut Pro

ADOBE PREMIERE PRO BASIC
Class Description: This session of Adobe Premiere covers the basics of Adobe Premiere. 
This includes importing footage, editing footage, and adjusting audio.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class

ADOBE PREMIERE PRO ADVANCED
Class Description: This session of Adobe Premiere covers keyframing, nesting sequences, and filters.
Prerequisite: Introduction Class and Adobe Premiere Basic

Class Description: This class covers Creating text and introduction to working in 3D space.

ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS CS5 BASIC
Class Description: This class covers features such as; alpha channels, clone stamping, and color
correction.

Class Description: This class covers compositing and working with virtual cameras.

Class Description: Students learn how to create vector-based graphics for web and mobile devices.

ADOBE AUDITION
Class Description: Students will learn how to sweeten and mix multiple tracks of dialogue, music beds,

* Proficiency Testing for certification in each class is available for individuals with prior
video production experience. The fee is $100 per test. If candidate fails to pass
